Director, Finance and Securities Research Institute, Renmin University of China
A famous Chinese economist as well as research expert of financial securities. He acquired a doctorate degree in economics in the Chinese People’s University in 1990. Now acting as an assistant for the president of the Chinese People’s University, the head of the Securities and Finance Institute, the professor in Finance department, the vice president of the degree’s committee of Chinese People’s University, the chair-professor in the ministry of education scholar, and etc.
With great influence on the research areas in macroeconomics, economics, financial revolution and capital market, he is being favored in all areas from his important and clear theories and strategic opinions on the development of Chinese capital market.

As a Chairman of Citibank (China) Co., Ltd, a corporate bank registered in China, he is working in Shanghai in charge of all the businesses of Citi bank. Since entering Citi bank in Hong Kong in 1997, he is taking major businesses including transaction exposure, trade, corporate bank, industry bank, and Citi bank of all the countries and regions around the world.
Graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Awarded ‘Baekokram honor awards’ from the city of Shanghai from the recognition of the contribution to the development of Shanghai.

Working as a Managing Director of the Credit Finance Association of Korea. Worked as a head of research center of the Credit Finance Association in 2011-2013, the director of the asset management in a asset management company (DIME Investment Co.) in 2003-2004, director of general planning and research in Hyundai Capital/Hyundai Card in 2000-2003, and research member in the Research headquarter of economy and finance of Daewoo economy research institute in 1994-1999.

A professor in the department of economics in Yeonsei University and the president of the Korean Economic Review. Received doctorate degree in economics from the Claremont University in America in the major of macroeconomics and international finance. Also working as a visitor professor in economics in Harvard University in America, the dean of the college of economics and the president of the graduate school of economics of Yeonsei University, and the president of the Korean association of international finance and the Korean association of international economics. He has worked as an advisory professor of the Bank or Korea and the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, the president of the Financial development Council of the Financial Services Commission, and the head of finance and international division of the Presidential Council of National Economy.
